Our Story
I’m Alex, and what started in 2014 with a single coffee van (and a dream) has now become West Berkshire Roastery - complete with two coffee roasters and a Labrador who thinks he’s the CEO.
Along the way, I uncovered some truths: coffee is one of the planet’s most sprayed crop. Pesticides? Chemicals? Absolutely everywhere. So, I ditched the usual beans and went on a quest for the good stuff: direct-traded coffees that don’t come with a side of artificial pesticides.
With a bit of Berkshire flair and caffeine-fuelled creativity, I’m here to bring you one of the finest (and cleanest) coffee experiences you’ll ever sip. I hope you’ll agree. It’s coffee refreshingly drama free.

Thought I should get a decent storage container for my fantastic WBR ground coffee. I saw the Airscape on their website and thought I’d get one, I wasn’t disappointed.
The jar is excellent, the way the unit expels the air means the coffee is kept in tip top condition, I’d certainly recommend it to anyone.
At 500g, it handles the standard ‘bag’ of grounds perfectly.
An excellent quality towel which has been nicely embroidered. Maintains its softness even after multiple washes and being tumble dried. Looks great on my coffee station during and between uses. I hope it comes back in stock so I can get a second one in my next coffee subscription delivery!

Purchased the grey Airscape Coffee Storage Container and filled it straight away. This morning I had to fill my coffee machine and as I opened the Airscape, it smelt like opening a new bag of coffee beans, wonderful. It looks great sitting on the side alongside my sugar and tea canisters. Would definitely recommend to all coffee bean drinkers.
