I tend to stick to the Signature Gold beans as they are so reliably good however every now and again I wander elsewhere and try some of Alex’s other offerings which this time included the Nicaragua - Las Nubes Washed. Well, I’m so glad I did as I’m really enjoying the different flavour notes, so much so that this may well take over, for a short time anyway, as my new favourite...
Love all WBR coffee, only 4 stars as this one had perfect taste, but a little weak for me( i like mine strong)

I've have to switch to my EM Zero grinder, as my Varia struggled with some of the smaller beans.
I’m very particular about coffee, and having come back to my Sage machine again after quite a hiatus, I searched the web for some beans that interested me.
WBR haven’t disappointed. The coffee is very flavoursome and the beans are very consistent - no having to forever adjust the grind - which is what put me off my machine in favour of coffee pods for some years.
Well, I’m a machine guy again thanks to WBR.
Good company to deal with beens are roasted on demand so need to rest a couple of days . Subscription deals are ok but sometimes find them cheaper but overall a great company
After trying a few different fresh beans for other roasters we were impressed by the robust flavour that manages to remain when used with milk in a flat white.
Adore the chocolate brownie blend and also love that the coffee is small batch and checked for mould/toxins. All very important to me.

I honestly can’t recommend West Berkshire Roastery Coffee enough. From the very first cup, I was hooked. The flavour is so rich and full-bodied, yet beautifully smooth at the same time. You can really taste the quality in every sip.
It’s completely transformed my mornings — I genuinely look forward to getting up and making my coffee now. The aroma alone is incredible, and that first sip is just lovely and comforting. It feels like such a small luxury, but it makes such a big difference to my day.

The best praise I can give WBR is I keep returning. I work for the post and smell lots of coffee that comes through the office and think of trying but then I try there coffee of the month and it just hits the spot after a 10mile walk in the rain and the El Salvador is no exception I brew it with a Vietnamese phinn because I am not lucky enough to have an espresso machine and let me tell you it is excellent rich in flavour smooth chocolaty with a touch of sweetness no sugar needed on this one for you people that take sugar.Brilliant WBR I will return.
I use whole beans and grind them for a moka pot. It just divine! Truly with notes of chocolate and caramel, the natural bitterness of all coffee blends beautifully with the deeper flavour. If youre looking for a clean, mould free excellent coffee this one is wonderful. Im about to try some others!

Quite a distinctive flavour which is very refreshing. I think it works very well with or without milk .
I use a cafetière & would say it’s fairly consistent with making good coffee.
Beans from West Berkshire Roastery make all the difference though & I like to try the specialty brews. I still rate their Signature Gold as my favourite .
To all at WBR, I have just purchased a bean to cup machine for the first time. Having shopped around I stumbled across your merry team and I was impressed to learn of your regular testing for molds & mycotoxins. Having had your starter pack, I am back to reorder for the first time. My wife was never a coffee drinker, but now has her daily shot of Black Gold and loves it.

I recently bought the signature gold coffee beans to give them a go in my home machine. They were delivered the next day just in time for my lunchtime coffee and I was really pleased with their freshness and quality. Definitely an upgrade from the supermarket beans I am used to
Extremely drinkable, smooth coffee any time of day. For a relative novice these beans just work without having to be a qualified barista!
I enjoy getting up and having a large espresso every morning but since I have ordered your dark and medium roast the experience has heightened even more. The flavours are ripe and fresh and the crema is beautiful. It pours like liquid gold as I watch my Sage Bambino prepare my morning ritual. Thank you for such a great product I can not fault it. Awesome!

I’ve tried many other brands and West Berkshire stand clearly at the top! These beans a fresh and the notes come through beautifully, both in espressos and my milk based drinks, like Latte and Cappuccino’s. The value for high quality, organic beans cannot be matched.
