Having had my caffeine intake influenced by Melbourne (coffee capital of the world), I wanted to find something as similar as I could to my favourite beans there, and this was the first that did it for me! Congrats
I was looking for an affordable coffee, free from mould and mycotoxins, easy to order, nice looking packaging (not massively important, but a box ticked none the less) that tastes damn good. This ticked every box and I’m one happy bunny every morning. I use a caffetier to brew and an MCT keto creamer from WillPowders. I quite often talk about how much I look forward to my morning coffee when I get into bed 😂. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I'm really pleased I found this local roastery with such great tasting coffee. The White Gold is my new go-to coffee which forms the backbone of my coffee drinking. I have a 1KG bag on subscription which I then pad out with small bags from different places for variety, always knowing I'll be returning to one of my favourites. This works great in my Aeropress.

Decided to cut down on my coffee consumption, so I opted for quality over quantity. I started exploring small local coffee companies and found West Berkshire Roastery. Bought the 3 bag selection and compared it to supermarket beans.
Oh my god no comparison, I’ve turned into a coffee snob. I’ve gone elsewhere and come back and now WBR Signature and White Gold will be on repeat order.
Using a cheap scale, Timemore Chestnut C3S Pro hand grinder, and an Aeropress my mornings coffee is Awesome.

Tried the Organic Gold, Simmer Down Decaf & Brazil Tropical
The decaf is the best i have had in a decaf. The signature Gold is my go to as it a great taste and full flavour. Just ordering again

These signature gold beans are delicious! 18g in 36g out in 26 seconds at 9 bar was where I found delicious caramel flavours with enough acidity and strength to cut through the milk. Easily top 3 of my favourite beans. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to try the rest WBR have to offer. They are also organic which is a huge plus.

I'm Alex, and what started in 2014 with a single coffee van (and a dream) has now become West Berkshire Roastery - complete with two coffee roasters and a Labrador who thinks he’s the CEO.
Along the way, I discovered that coffee is one big, tangled mess - dodgy practices and shady tactics all over the place. But there’s also a whole lot of amazing farmers doing it right. So, I ditched the usual suspects and set off on a quest for the good stuff: direct-traded coffees served with a generous side of transparency.
With some caffeine-fuelled creativity, I’m here to bring you one of the finest (and cleanest) coffee experiences possible. It’s coffee refreshingly drama free.
